SUMMARY:Intro to Creative Writing I (Sr. Level: Rising 10-12 Graders)
DESCRIPTION:This camp will provide an introduction to Creative Writing\, giving high school students a chance to explore various genres–fiction\, poetry and personal memoir–in interactive workshops. No previous creative writing experience is assumed\, and even experienced writers will gain new skills in different genres. We will focus on generative writing\, using exercises and models to explore each genre. This is a great camp for students who like to write (or think they might like to write) or for students who have not enjoyed academic writing could benefit from a more creative approach to writing.
