DESCRIPTION:Session I July 18-22\, 10am – 1pm \n$450.00\n(includes reading anthology) \n\nDo you have a student who likes to read\, who dreams about writing\, who scribbles stories and poetry in a notebook? If so\, this is the camp for them! Using exercises and games in an interactive workshop setting\, this camp will allow students to explore the elements of poetry\, stories and nonfiction and encourage them to express themselves in a fun\, creative way. Every day students will be introduced to new writers and writing and will write hands-on themselves\, working on individual projects of their choice. The skills students learn here will translate easily into the academic setting as well\, making them better overall writers.
