COLLEGE ESSAY FOR THE WIN: We’ll be offering six sessions of our College Essay for the Win course. Designed for rising seniors who will be applying to colleges in the fall, this three-day course (two hours each day) offers students an efficient way to get the bulk of this writing task done before the school year starts. In the process, students will also learn great writing skills to get them in shape for the academic year.

FUNDAMENTALS OF ACADEMIC WRITING: Speaking of getting into shape, rising sophomore, junior and senior high school students may want to check out our Fundamentals of Academic Writing Course at the end of August. It’s designed to help students prepare for a great school year and become more confident writing papers. As we all know, writing skills are hard to learn in the middle of an assignment when your grade is on the line and a deadline looms. Mastering skills in advance will make paper writing easier and more efficient. Fun maybe too? Well, at least not as stressful…

CREATIVE WRITING CAMP: We’ll also be offering our first summer camp in Creative Writing at the Senior Level (for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors). Teens will get a chance to experiment with fiction, poetry and creative non-fiction in an interactive, fun environment with lots of language games and hands-on writing exercises (And shhh! Don’t tell them, but the language skills they learn will also be productive—teaching them great writing lessons for the school year). Students will also get to be published authors in our camp anthology.

All of our writing classes are capped at 6 students per session, guaranteeing a small environment where students can feel comfortable and get the attention they need.
